Thanks to its special endings that feature adhesive tape, the thermometer can be quickly fixed at any place of your choosing without having to drill any holes. However, the additional openings in the holder make it possible to screw the thermometer to a window as well. It can be installed either on right or left side of the window and is usually screwed to the frame.

The direct impact of solar radiation – particularly in the summer – may cause the temperature to rise above 50°C, leading to expansion of the liquid and breakage of the capillary.
