Description

  • Accurate measurement – the alcohol meter allows performing an accurate measurement of alcohol content within the range from 0% to 95%. The recommended temperature for taking a measurement is 20-21°C - in such conditions a measurement will be reliable and accurate.
  • Intended for pure alcoholic drinks – Not intended for wine, liqueurs, or tinctures! The alcohol meter is intended for measuring percentage content of alcohol in pure alcoholic drinks (vodka, spirits, moonshine) that do not feature admixtures of sugar and dyes that could distort the result!
  • Final result - the result provided by the alcohol meter is the final value that does not require additional conversions. It has never been so easy to measure the alcohol content in alcoholic drinks!
  • Easy to use – in order to take a measurement, the test tube should be filled with liquid until the floater in the liquid rises. After the immersion level is stabilised, it is necessary to take a measurement on the basis of the location of the bottom meniscus of the liquid.
  • Universal application - an alcohol meter can be useful both in households and at work, e.g. at the bar when diluting alcohol for making drinks.

An alcohol meter is an instrument that will definitely be of use in your household! The meter consists of a test tube and a floater and features a properly applied scale from 0% to 95% alcohol content. Using this device, it is possible to measure easily, quickly, and - most importantly - accurately the percentage content of alcohol in pure alcoholic drinks (vodka, spirits, moonshine) that do not feature admixtures of sugar and dyes, which distort the result. Thus, the alcohol meter is not suitable for measuring the alcohol content in wines or tinctures! Taking a measurement is extremely easy and the result is read directly from the scale, without additional conversions. Since these instruments are calibrated in the temperature of 20-21°C, it is recommended to take measurements in the same temperature range. Since liquids change their concentration (as a result of molecules shrinking and growing) under the influence of temperature, a measurement taken at 20-21°C will be the most reliable and accurate.

How to use:

In order to take a measurement, the test tube has to be filled with a small amount of liquid, sufficient for the floater inside the tube to float within its volume without touching the tube walls. After the immersion level is stabilised, a measurement can be taken on the basis of the location of the bottom meniscus of the liquid.

NOTE:
These instruments are intended for measuring percentage content of alcohol in pure alcoholic drinks (vodka, spirits, moonshine) that do not contain any sugar that might distort the result.

CAUTION!

Every country has its own legal regulations governing the manufacturing of ethyl alcohol, wine products, and spirits, introducing them onto the market, and regarding sanctions for non-compliance.
