Bread made with rye leaven has a distinct, slightly sour flavour, a dark and mellow crumb, and a crunchy golden brown crust - and all of this can be achieved at home in only a few hours!

A single packaging is enough for baking as much as 8 bread loaves, each weighing about 750 g, and it is very simple to use. It is enough to add the right amount of leaven to flour, salt, water, and baker’s yeast!

The product is intended for baking bread either in an oven or in a special automatic bread baking machine.

Baked products based on leaven are an abundant source of dietary fibre, thanks to which they me be included in the diet of children and of the elderly. Lack of artificial and chemical additives, extended freshness of the baked products made.

Ingredients: assorted grains 76% (ground linseeds, sunflower seeds, unshelled hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds), dried rye leaven 24% (rye leaven, leaven starter cultures).

Recipe for baking a 750 g bread with rye leaven with grains:

Ingredients for the bread: 350 ml lukewarm water (about 1.5 glass), 10 g salt (1 tbsp), 350 g type 500 - 750 wheat flour (about 2.3 glass), 150 g type 720 rye flour (about 1.3 glass), 8 g baker’s yeast (2 tsp), 63 g rye leaven with grains (3,5 tbsp), 3 tbsp olive oil or rapeseed oil, 0.5 tsp sugar.

Oven: Knead the dough made from the ingredients listed - you need to obtain an elastic mass. Leave the dough in a warm place for at least 1 hour so that it doubles its volume and then move it to a clay mould. Caution: before being used, the mould requires moistening with water - this ensures crunchy crust and moist crumb of the bread - as well as coating with fat and sprinkling with flour - to prevent the dough from sticking to the mould. Bake it in an oven for about 1 hour, in a temperature of 200°C.
Automatic bread baking machine: Add the ingredients in the order they are listed into the automatic machine bowl and set the BASIC program in order to obtain a moderately browned crust. The bread will be ready after about 3 hours. 

NOTE! Do not add flour. The dough should be sticky.

Note! The product does not include yeast - we recommend purchasing dried baker’s yeast in 2x16 g, 100 g, or 500 g packaging, all of which are available in our offer!
