The jar Pękaty brzuszek is suited primarily for building a small household pantry.

Homemade strawberry jam:
- 2 kg of strawberries
- 500 g of sugar
- 40 g of Frukta-Żel*
- sok z 1/2 cytryny
Put 1 kg of strawberries (washed and de-stemmed) into a saucepan and blend them. Add lemon juice and boil. Mix 2 cups of sugar with pectin.
Add to fruits and stir, heating it all the while. When strawberries boil, add remaining fruit (cut into quarters). Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring all the while. Pour the hot jam into hot jars and seal with dried lids. Set the jars bottoms-up for 5 - 10 minutes.
Next, put away for cooling. Could possibly pasteurise.
