Recipe for dandelion syrup

Preparation:

Place the dandelion flowers (only the yellow petals) in a pot, cover with cold water, and cook for 30 minutes with the sugar over low heat until the mixture begins to reduce. Then add an acid regulator to taste and simmer gently until the liquid reaches the consistency of runny honey.
Pour the resulting hot syrup into jars and seal tightly.
