Homemade quince liqueur
Quince liqueur is a sweet and very aromatic type of drink, containing a large amount of vitamin C and pectins. The nutrients and minerals contained in the liqueur support the body's overall condition and increase immunity. Quince is also an ideal remedy for stomach problems. Quince liqueur can be used instead of walnut liqueur. It aids digestion, reduces heartburn, soothes inflammation of the digestive tract and strengthens the liver, and you can prepare it entirely in the comfort of your own home.

Recipe for homemade quince liqueur
Preparation:
Wash the fruit thoroughly. Cut each one into 4 parts, removing the seeds and white parts. Leave the peel on. Place the fruit prepared in this way in a jar and sprinkle with 500 g of sugar. Leave for 7 days. Press out the juice obtained and sprinkle the fruit again with the remaining sugar. Leave for 2 days. After this time, add to the prepared syrup, following the proportions below. Bear in mind that unfortunately in this case it is very difficult to determine how much syrup you will obtain, so these values may differ slightly each time.
Proportions:
1 liter fruit syrup
1 liter rectified spirit
1 liter cool boiled water (of course, the amount of water added is relative and depends solely on personal taste)
After 3 weeks the liqueur should start to clarify nicely. You can speed up this process by storing it in a cool place and adding (for the amount given) a drop of natural Pectoenzyme, which will reduce the viscosity of the liquid. After 6 months the liqueur will turn brown. If the liquid has cleared, you can decant the liqueur again and leave it to mature further. With quince, the longer, the better.
