Recipe for walnut liqueur
Preparation:
Cut the walnuts into small pieces, add cloves and cinnamon, and cover with alcohol. The drink prepared this way should mature for about a month. After this time, strain off the liquid. Pour honey over the walnuts you have strained and leave for another month. Shake the mixture vigorously every few days. Do not pour away the strained liquid. After 30 days, combine the walnut syrup with the strained liquid and pour into bottles. Remember to strain out the walnuts. Otherwise, the liqueur will be too bitter.
Orzechówka prepared in this way tastes best after 3 months of aging.
