Use and care:

Do not expose the glass to sudden temperature shocks, as large differences can cause damage. Before use, keep the demijohn at room temperature for at least one hour. Do not fill the demijohn with water hotter than 50°C. Wash the glass in lukewarm water with sanitizing agents such as potassium metabisulfite or Oxi Turbo.

Due to the high stress generated during vigorous fermentation, it’s recommended to close the demijohn with a less airtight cotton‑wool plug during this stage to help prevent possible glass cracking.
