DIY product.
How to prepare alcoholic beer:
Dissolve the contents of the sachet in the fermentation vessel in 1 L of hot (not boiling) water. Then add 0.5 kg of unrefined sugar and mix thoroughly. Top up with cool water to a total volume of 10 L, add the brewer’s yeast, mix again, and close the fermentation vessel.
Carry out fermentation at 21-27°C for about 6-10 days, away from direct sunlight. After this time, check the wort gravity—if it is about 1–2 °Blg, the beer can be bottled, adding 4 g of sugar per 0.5 L.
Leave the capped bottles for a few days at room temperature, then move them to a cooler place (max. 18°C) for at least 2-3 weeks. It’s worth chilling the beer well before serving.
Ginger beer fans who prefer alcohol-free drinks can prepare a non-alcoholic version of Coopers Ginger Beer—full of aroma and lightly sparkling.
How to prepare non-alcoholic beer:
Dissolve the contents of the sachet in 1 L of hot (not boiling) water, then top up with cool water to 10 L and mix thoroughly. Next, add the brewer’s yeast, mix again, close the fermentation vessel, and leave for 2–3 hours.
After this time, bottle, adding 4 g of sugar per 0.5 L. Store the capped bottles at around 18°C.
After a few days, you will obtain a natural ginger drink with a rich aroma and pleasant freshness.
