My Hobby: Home Winemaking / book
Publication available in Polish (No. 980005), English (980017) and Russian (980016).
This guide is dedicated to amateur winemakers operating on a micro scale. With them in mind, it discusses the most important winemaking raw materials, the successive stages of vinification, and the principles of caring for the wine during its aging.
Wine provides those special sensations and emotions that ignite or soothe the senses, awaken the imagination and foster existential reflection. Wine connects generations, makes it easier to establish contacts and deepen social relationships. Thanks to the use of new grapevine varieties adapted to more demanding growing conditions, in various regions - including those with a cooler climate - magnificent vineyards are being established, as well as equally charming small vineyards set up in home gardens. In orchards, in accordance with the timeless rhythm of the seasons, fruits ripen, tempting with their abundance - also excellent as raw material for wine.
Let us use the recipes given in the book and create interesting, fine beverages, so we can enjoy the extraordinary sensations provided by tasting wine or mead from our own home cellar.
