The jar is ideal for storing pickled cucumbers. It can also be used to store dry foods (e.g. dried mushrooms and fruit). Usage: 

The glass jar is a vessel that, if used properly, will last for years, but avoid contact of the product with very high temperatures that could cause the glass to break. The jar should not be immersed in boiling water or washed in hot water, as excessive heat could damage the glass. It is advisable to wash the glass in lukewarm water with a disinfectant, e.g. potassium pyrosulphite.
