The Perun 60 L modular Convex still is a professional electric still with a 60 L container, a reflux of the ‘Cold Fingers’ type and a head with two clarifiers and a condenser. It is a complete set made of high-quality stainless steel (INOX).

Intended for using with a heater with total power of 3500 W.

The product is distinguished by the following features, among others:

• High quality - made of stainless steel and durable plastic components, airtight featuring precision connections, and characterised by operational efficiency and durability.
• Container of convex type, with dome lid - this airtight dome enables safe presumptive foaming of the batch or mash, improves the stability of the whole column and has a positive impact on the whole distillation process.
• ‘Cold Fingers’ reflux - performs the role of a dephlegmator and is excellent at pre-treatment of distillate vapours thanks the precise adjustment of water flow.
• Head with two clarifiers and a condenser - the purpose of clarifiers is to collect heavier fractions that are undesirable in the final product.
• High efficiency - the container makes it possible to distil a large volume of liquid (however, it is recommended not to exceed 90% of the capacity).
• Complete set - the set includes a container with a convex lid, a column with reflux, a condenser and two clarifiers, two electronic thermometers with batteries included, valves, two hoses, a water supply connector, assembly elements, and a user manual.
• Expandable - the container and lid are compatible with other distillation modules available from BROWIN.

• Two column connectors - performing the function of a rectifier and improving the purity of the distillate thanks to their filling.
• Column cladding - reduces heat losses and enables conducting the process in lower ambient temperature.
• Two electronic frame thermometers - provide precise temperature measurements during the distillation process and are connected using probes - one to the container and one to the upper part of the head.
• Heater with total power of 3500 W (1500 and 2000 W) - provides appropriate temperature parameters.

In the XXL set for 60 L the container features a practical discharge tap.

This modular distillation system was created in order to meet the requirements of the most demanding customers. Thanks to the applications of standardising connections and innovative system elements, this system can be used as a basis for configuring any type of still. The new conical shape of the container lid allows for potential foaming of the batch or mash, without the risk of contaminating the column and its filling. The dome shape also increases the stability of the entire column, even with tall stills, which also translates into increased stability of the entire distillation process. The new lid form is inspired by the classic 'swan-neck' alembics, providing an eye-pleasing detail.

Column connector - a distiller module installed in order to increase the height of the distillation column, filled with stainless wire scourers, thanks to which it is excellent at increasing the purity of the resulting distillate. The connector can also perform the function of a catalytic filter, while at the same time purifying the distillate excellently without interruption. It is possible as it features a crossbar in its lower part than allows placing a support mesh in the module, enabling filling the column with copper prismatic springs.
