Frukta-Żel is intended mainly for low-sugar jams. In jams with a high sugar concentration, the pectin may fail to set or lumps may appear. To avoid this, we recommend mixing the fruit with part of the sugar and Frukta-Żel, then adding the remaining sugar.
Directions:
Jam:
Wash the fruit, remove pits/stones, and chop larger pieces.
Mix Frukta-Żel with the fruit and bring to a boil, stirring vigorously.
Add 0.35-0.50 kg of sugar to the fruit and cook for a few minutes until completely dissolved.
For peaches, pears, apricots, strawberries, pumpkin, etc., add lemon juice or half a teaspoon of citric acid.
Fill jars with the hot preserve, seal, and turn upside down or pasteurize.
Vegan jelly:
Heat 0.5 L of your chosen juice.
Add Frukta-Żel, stir until dissolved.
Once cooled, place the liquid in the refrigerator to set.
