The glass used to make the demijohns has all certifications permitting contact with food products containing alcohol. This is non-tempered glass.
Use:
Do not expose the glass to sudden thermal shocks, as excessive temperature differences may cause damage. It is recommended to wash the glass in lukewarm water with the addition of disinfectants, e.g., potassium metabisulfite.
