The Lightweight Demijohn is a revolutionary 20 L shatterproof demijohn. It is a long-lasting investment and an excellent alternative to traditional glass demijohns. It is lightweight and fitted with a comfortable carrying handle that sits securely in your hand, making it easier to move even when full.

The demijohn has been tested and certified as safe for contact with alcohol concentrations of up to 95%.

The graduated scale on the side makes it easier to use the Lightweight Demijohn by allowing you to check the volume of your batch. Simply pour your batch into the demijohn and close it with the screw cap and airlock. The ridges on the cap make it easier to open and close, while the handle allows you to carry the demijohn when it is empty. The specially designed cap has no gasket, so there is no risk of mould or bacteria collecting underneath it.

The wide opening makes it easy to remove the pomace and clean the inside of the container. We recommend using Potassium Metabisulfite, Turbo Metabisulfite or Oxi Turbo for cleaning.


PLEASE NOTE:

Do not expose the demijohn to direct sunlight because it has limited resistance to UV radiation.

Wash the demijohn at a temperature no higher than 70°C using a soft cloth.

Permitted alcohol concentration: 95%.
