Fermented cauliflower is a snack that rarely appears on Polish tables. This healthy, tasty, and easy-to-make ferment is perfect as a snack straight from the jar, as well as an addition to salads. Discover a quick and simple step-by-step recipe! 

Recipe for fermented cauliflower in a jar

Preparation:

Rinse the cauliflower thoroughly and divide it into small florets. Pack it tightly into jars together with the remaining ingredients, divided among 4 jars. Adding carrot or bell pepper will make our jars appetizing and colorful.

Prepare hot brine and pour it over the jars. Screw the lids on. After 24 hours, fermentation will begin. Note! For 3 days, gently loosen the lids daily so the gas can escape. Once degassed, tighten firmly and leave to ferment. 

You can add 1/3 teaspoon of turmeric to the fermented cauliflower to achieve a beautiful yellow color.
