Blueberry jam recipe with no added sugar
Preparation
Wash the blueberries, then place them in a pot and slowly bring to a boil. Sprinkle Pectin Strong into the hot fruit. Add citric acid dissolved in a small amount of hot water. Stir continuously and bring to a boil. You can skim off the foam or reduce it by adding half a teaspoon of vegetable oil.
Meanwhile, prepare the jars. Wash them thoroughly in warm water with detergent and dry them. You can also immerse the jars in boiling water to sterilize them.
Pour the hot jam into the prepared jars, leaving about 1 cm of headspace below the rim. The practical Kwadratura Koła funnel will make pouring the jam into jars easier and will also provide protection against potential burns and keep the jars clean.
Close the jars with metal lids - tighten until first resistance.
Turn the jars upside down and leave them in this position until completely cool. This will ensure a tight seal and allow the finished jam to be stored longer.
