Recipe for blackcurrant and apple jam
Preparation:
Wash the currants, remove the stems, pat them dry, and place them in a pot, then gently crush them, e.g., with a potato masher. Wash, peel, and coarsely grate the apples. Add to the currants. Add a packet of Frukta-Żel, as well as sugar. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Set aside to cool. Then gently reheat the fruit mixture and blend it - cook for 15 minutes and transfer, while still hot, into clean, sterilized jars. If you like very thick jams, cool the fruit again and then bring it back to a boil. Pour into jars. Screw on the lids and pasteurize.
