Chocolate mmmm… Today is World Chocolate Day, and we think many people will agree that we’d happily celebrate such occasions more than once a year. Anyway, today is the day when we can forget all diets and celebrate Chocolate Day properly. Our suggestion is an easy brownie, a chocolate cake that always turns out and tastes finger-licking good!
Preparation:
Break the chocolate into pieces and put it into a metal bowl together with the butter. Place the bowl in a pot of boiling water — in other words, heat the contents in a hot water bath. Stir until smooth. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat them with a pinch of salt into a foam. Beat the yolks with the sugar, add the flour, then the cooled, melted chocolate with butter and the previously beaten egg-white foam. For baking, use a pan lined with baking paper measuring 30 × 24 cm. Place the batter in an oven preheated to 200 °C for 20 min. You won’t find anything simpler or tastier! Be sure to try this recipe.
You can sprinkle the surface of the batter with pieces of chocolate before baking.
