There are flavors and aromas that we clearly associate with pleasant moments. The taste and smell of waffles are certainly among them. They bring to mind seaside holidays, childhood, carefree days, and the abundance of toppings you can serve with them. Of course, this tasty treat can be enjoyed at other times of the year as well. Homemade waffles from our recipe taste excellent. We provide the base; you create the rest and enjoy the flavor.
Preparation
Add all the ingredients to a bowl, except for the butter.
Mix everything with a mixer fitted with dough hooks.
Add the melted, cooled butter to the dough and continue kneading for a few minutes (the dough will have a sticky consistency).
Cover the bowl of dough with a cloth and set it in a warm place for 30–60 minutes to rise.
After this time, spoon the dough into the center of the preheated waffle maker.
Cook until golden.
Serve plain or with toppings of your choice: powdered sugar, fresh fruit, jam, or peanut butter.
