This homemade treat will warm up winter evenings. Perfect for the holiday table or as a gift in a decorative bottle!
Preparation:
- Place the sealed can of dulce de leche in a pot of water. Bring the water to a boil, then simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. The dulce de leche will become more fluid and easier to use. After cooking, carefully remove the can and set it aside to cool slightly.
- Open the can and transfer the dulce de leche to a blender. Blend on low speed, gradually adding the rectified spirit. Mix until you obtain a uniform, smooth mixture.
- Slowly pour in the milk at room temperature, blending continuously. This will make the mixture velvety and perfectly creamy.
- Pour the finished liqueur into decorative bottles – the ones from Browin work best. Place in the refrigerator for a few hours to chill.
Serving:
Dulce de leche liqueur tastes best chilled. Its creamy, sweet flavor with a gentle kick is perfect for winter evenings and holiday gatherings.
Tip:
This liqueur makes a great gift – just decorate the bottles with a ribbon or a label to turn them into a beautiful holiday present!
