Plum-and-date liqueur is really easy and quick to make. Plums are large fruits, so they don’t pose a problem—from harvesting and washing to pitting and slicing. Meanwhile, despite their high sugar content, dried dates do not raise blood sugar levels. This liqueur works perfectly when you’re trying to combat various aches and fever. Preparation:
Add the plums along with the pits, and the dates, to the alcohol. Set aside for 1 month. After this time, pour off the alcohol, cover the fruit and pits with sugar, and leave for 4 days. Then add the lemon juice, mix thoroughly, and leave again for 4 days. Next, pour off the syrup from the fruit and add it to the liqueur. Mix well. Set it aside once more for 5 days and it’s ready — the liqueur is ready for tasting!
