Recipe for stuffed peppers from a gas grill
Preparation:
- Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
- Sauté the onion in heated olive oil until translucent. Add the garlic and ground meat and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add the tomatoes and cooked rice, stir, and simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Fill each pepper half with the stuffing, pressing lightly. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Wrap the stuffed peppers tightly in aluminum foil.
- Preheat the gas grill to a medium temperature (about 180–200°C). Place the peppers on the grate, cover, and grill for about 20–25 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the filling is nicely browned.
- Unwrap the foil and serve immediately.
