The Convex Perun XXL 60 L modular still is a professional electric still with a large-capacity boiler (60 L), “Cold Fingers” reflux, and a head with two settling chambers and a condenser. A complete kit made of high-quality stainless steel (INOX).

To be used with a heating element with a total power of 3500 W.

Among other things, the product is distinguished by the following features:

•  High quality - stainless steel and durable plastic components, tightness, precision of connections, efficiency, and durability.
• Convex-type boiler with a domed lid - this tight lid allows any potential foaming of the wash or mash to occur safely, increases the stability of the entire column, and positively affects the whole distillation process.
• “Cold Fingers” reflux - acts as a dephlegmator; thanks to precise water flow control, it excellently pre-purifies the distillate vapors.
• Head with two settling chambers and a condenser - the settling chambers are intended to collect heavier fractions, which are undesirable in the final product.
• High throughput - the boiler allows distillation of a large amount of liquid (it is recommended not to exceed 90% of capacity).
• Complete kit - the set includes a boiler with a domed lid, a column with reflux, a condenser and 2 settling chambers, 2 electronic thermometers with batteries, valves, 2 hoses, a connector for connecting the water supply, mounting hardware, and a manual.
• Expandable - the boiler and lid are compatible with other distillation modules available in the BROWIN range.

The functionality of the kit is also emphasized by the following components:

• 2 column connectors - act as a rectifier and, thanks to packing, increase the purity of the distillate.
• Column insulation - reduces heat loss and allows the process to be run at lower ambient temperatures.
• 2 framed electronic thermometers - ensure precise temperature measurements during distillation, and are connected via probes—one to the boiler, the other to the upper part of the head.
• Heating element with a total power of 3500 W (1500 and 2000 W) - ensures appropriate temperature parameters.
• In the XXL 60 L set, the boiler is equipped with a practical drain tap.

The new conical shape of the boiler lid allows any potential foaming of the wash or mash without the risk of contaminating the column and its packing. The dome shape also increases the stability of the entire column, even with tall stills, which in turn enhances the stability of the whole distillation process. The new lid form is inspired by classic "swan neck" alembics, which is a pleasing visual detail.

Column connector — a still module installed to increase the height of the distillation column and filled with stainless scrubbers, thereby significantly improving the purity of the obtained distillate. The connector can also function as a catalytic filter while continuously purifying the distillate. This is possible because it has a crosspiece at the bottom that allows a support mesh to be placed in the module, enabling the column to be filled with copper prismatic springs.
