Munin - the name of one of Odin’s ravens, the highest of the Aesir gods. Munin means "Memory," so you will remember the output of this distiller for a long time.

The Munin convex modular distiller is a new version with a pot featuring a convex lid, a relocated temperature reading point on the vessel, and column insulation.

The modular distillation system was created to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. Thanks to standardized connections and innovative system components, various types of distillers can be configured on their basis. Modular assembly allows expansion or a different arrangement of the device.

The set includes:

Design features:

The new, conical shape of the pot lid allows possible foaming of the wash or mash without the risk of contaminating the column and its packing. The dome shape also increases the stability of the entire column, even with tall distillers, which translates into greater stability of the entire distillation process. The new form of the lid is inspired by classic "swan-neck" alembics, which is a pleasing visual detail.

Relocating the thermometer opening in the vessel provides greater control over the temperature of the substance being boiled inside the pot — this matters not only in the distillation process but also during grain mashing, pasteurization, or even heating dishes.

• 250 mm column connector - a stainless-steel distiller module.

The connector can act as a catalytic filter, allowing the use of packing that increases the purity of the distillate obtained. The best effect is achieved when using copper prismatic springs. Copper is intended to adsorb (absorb) volatile sulfur compounds that give distillates an unpleasant odor and negatively affect their taste.

• ​Head - condenser with 2 thumpers - a distiller module made of stainless steel. Mounted at the top of the distillation column.

Functions of the thumpers:

protection against foam or surging of the wash from the boiler into the collected distillate,

collection of heavier fractions, undesirable in the final product.

The thumpers also provide a space in which a secondary simple distillation takes place. This solution allows for a cleaner distillate with lower water consumption in the condenser.
