Description
An alcohol meter is an instrument that will definitely be of use in your household! The meter consists of a test tube and a floater and features a properly applied scale from 0% to 95% alcohol content. Using this device, it is possible to measure easily, quickly, and - most importantly - accurately the percentage content of alcohol in pure alcoholic drinks (vodka, spirits, moonshine) that do not feature admixtures of sugar and dyes, which distort the result. Thus, the alcohol meter is not suitable for measuring the alcohol content in wines or tinctures! Taking a measurement is extremely easy and the result is read directly from the scale, without additional conversions. Since these instruments are calibrated in the temperature of 20-21°C, it is recommended to take measurements in the same temperature range. Since liquids change their concentration (as a result of molecules shrinking and growing) under the influence of temperature, a measurement taken at 20-21°C will be the most reliable and accurate.
Every country has its own legal regulations governing the manufacturing of ethyl alcohol, wine products, and spirits, introducing them onto the market, and regarding sanctions for non-compliance.
