A way to save!
The price of the equipment is an investment in the future—all the necessary products: a fermentation vessel, caps, a capper—cost about 200 zł. Of course, over time you can develop your brewing passion, moving to an increasingly professional path and using additional products dedicated to brewing enthusiasts. However, the minimum basic equipment is enough to enjoy beer made by yourself. We particularly recommend our MIKROBROWAR 1 (406000) set, which is a great gift idea and also a complete starter kit for anyone wanting to begin their brewing adventure.
This expense will pay for itself very quickly, especially since making beer from concentrate is more cost-effective than buying ready-made beer in the store. For example, when buying Coopers concentrates for 23 L of beer (average can price: 70 zł) – the cost of a 500 ml bottle is 1.5 zł. By adding sugar or glucose (which improves the taste of the beer), this cost will increase to 2 zł. Still, it’s a price lower than or comparable to the most popular “regular” beers available in large discount stores, at promotional prices from 2.5 to 3 zł. Also remember that the pleasure of drinking and sharing homebrew with friends and family is... priceless! For those who like more sophisticated flavors and craft beers, we have Amber Ale, Long Play IPA and Diablo IPA concentrates, allowing you to prepare up to 8.5 L of beer. These are more refined styles, often found in craft brewing, to which you can also add hopped malt extracts to obtain an even more expressive flavor. The cost of making such beer is from 2 to 3 zł per 500 ml bottle. Meanwhile, promotional prices for this type of beers in discount stores range from 6 to even over a dozen złotys. It’s easy to see that thanks to a passion for homebrew we can not only save money, but also develop our brewing palate and delight others with increasingly interesting brews.
