2-in-1 steam juicer + steamer! If you value healthy cooking and your diet is full of fruit and veg, this 5 L stainless steam juicer with steamer function is a great tool for making wholesome, vitamin-rich juices. Built from heat-resistant material, it works on all types of stovetops. It’s incredibly easy to use—three stackable pans: a water pan, a juice collector, and a fruit basket with a perforated base. A bonus feature is the special design that lets you turn the juicer into a steamer: place the perforated basket directly on the water pan to steam your dishes. The set also includes a hose for drawing off juice straight from the juicer into a carafe, bottle, or jar. A lid is included. One big advantage of making juice with a steam juicer is that more nutrients are retained in the final product. Juicing is quick and simple—soft fruit (strawberries, raspberries) will yield juice in just over half an hour! Cleaning is a breeze too—it's dishwasher safe.

Using the steam juicer

Fill vessel no. 1 with water to 2/3 of its height. In vessel no. 3, place washed fruit prepared as follows: soft fruit such as blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants go in whole—do not crush. Hard fruit (apples, pears) should be cut into pieces smaller than 3 cm. Leave 1–2 cm of free space below the lid in the fruit vessel. Sprinkle the fruit with 100 to 600 grams of sugar (see table no. 1). Cover the set with the lid and close the clamp on the hose (it’s recommended to hook the hose onto the handle of vessel no. 2). 

Set the prepared stack on a heat source (gas stove, electric, etc.) and bring it slowly to a boil. As the temperature rises and steam forms, juice is released from the fruit and collects in vessel no. 2. When the juice starts to collect, drain it into a separate container so it doesn’t get into the water.

The time required to obtain juice, counted from the moment the water boils (when steam appears in the top vessel), is:

• for soft fruit (strawberries, raspberries): 20–30 minutes
• for semi-firm fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry): 30–40 minutes
• for firm fruit (apples, pears): 45–60 minutes

About 15 minutes after the water comes to a boil, open the clamp on the hose and drain the accumulating juice directly into bottles or jars. Right after filling, cap them or close with twist-off lids.

Place the filled bottles (jars) into a pot of water and pasteurize for 30 minutes (counting from the moment the water boils).

To obtain high-quality juice with long shelf life, it’s important to carry out every step with absolute cleanliness.
