Today we’ll share with you a slightly more refined recipe — from Spanish cuisine — a spicy tomato jam with a hint of Habanero. If you’re curious how to prepare such a jam — you’ll find all the details below.
Spicy tomato jam recipe
Preparation:
Blanch the tomatoes, peel off the skins, cut into quarters, and heat in a pan until 1/3 of the juice evaporates. Then pass the resulting pulp through a sieve or blend it. Add lemon juice, sugar, and the seasoning. Next, add Frukta-żel mixed with a small amount of cold water and heat for another 15 minutes. Pour into sterilized jars. Leave the jars standing upside down for a dozen or so minutes, or pasteurize.
