Recipe for peach confiture with rosemary

Preparation:

Wash the fruit, remove the pits, place in a pot, and sprinkle with sugar. Finely chop the rosemary or crush it in a mortar. Add it to the pot. Simmer everything over low heat until the confiture thickens. This may take about 1-1.5 hours. Transfer the hot fruit mixture into sterilized, clean jars. Seal and pasteurize - in water for about 20-25 minutes or in the oven at 120 degrees for 35 minutes. Note! When pasteurizing jars in the oven, do not remove them right away; take them out only after the oven has cooled down!

Enjoy! ...because homemade is better!
