Thanks to the addition of Jamaica Rum essence, it gains depth and a unique character, and pectin helps reduce the amount of sugar while preserving a fresh, fruity flavor. This jam will be a great addition to morning oatmeal, crispy toast, or fluffy pancakes.

Recipe for peach jam with a hint of Jamaica Rum essence 

Preparation: 

  1. Blanch the peaches, peel, and cut them into pieces.
  2. Place in a pot, add lemon juice and zest, and half the sugar. Cook until the fruit softens.
  3. Mix the remaining sugar with pectin and add to the fruit while stirring. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat, let cool for a few minutes, and add the Jamaica Rum essence.
  5. Transfer the hot jam to jars.
