The Classic Convex 18 L Still is a professional, modular still with an 18 L vessel, two thumpers, and a condenser. A complete set made of high-quality stainless steel (INOX), intended for use on all types of cooktops.

Among other things, the product features the following:

• High quality - stainless steel and durable plastic components, tightness, precision joints, efficient operation, and durability.
• Usable with various heat sources - on electric, induction, ceramic, gas cooktops, or on a coil heater.
• Two electronic thermometers included - providing precise temperature measurements during the distillation process.
• High throughput - the 18 L vessel allows distilling a large volume of liquid (it is recommended not to exceed 90% of capacity).
• Complete set - the kit includes a vessel with a domed (convex) lid, a condenser with two thumpers, two electronic thermometers with batteries, valves for the thumpers, two hoses, a fitting for connecting the water supply, mounting hardware, and a manual.
• Expandable - the vessel and lid are compatible with other distillation modules available in the BROWIN range.

The still is equipped with an 18 L vessel (recommended fill up to 90% of capacity, not less than 25%), a condenser with 2 thumpers, and 2 thermometers, which allows distillation without any additional accessories. The set is suitable for use with various heat sources. Two precise thermometers with probes facilitate temperature control—inside the vessel and in the thumper. A PVC hose with a quick coupling enables easy connection of the water inlet and outlet. The silicone hose is used for collecting the distillate.

The domed (convex-type) lid of the vessel is an innovative design ensuring even condensation of vapor, which allows you to obtain a distillate with excellent taste and aroma. The shape of the lid enables any foaming of the wash or mash without the risk of contaminating the column and its packing.

The dome shape, inspired by classic “swan-neck” alembics, increases the stability of the entire column, even with tall stills, which also translates into increased stability of the entire distillation process. The domed lid has only the main opening used for mounting the column.

The thumpers make it possible to obtain a cleaner, higher-strength distillate. They perform several important functions, including preventing heavier fractions, undesirable in the final product, from passing from the boiler. They also provide a space in which simple re-distillation occurs, allowing a cleaner distillate with lower water consumption in the condenser.

Before assembling the set and starting to use it, carefully read the enclosed manual and follow the instructions, observing the rules of safe product use.

WARNING! The device may be used by adults only. Never leave the device operating unattended. Make sure the storage location of the device is properly secured against access by children and unauthorized persons.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

Follow the recommendations provided in the manual. Always keep in mind that the vessel is made of steel. After each use, it requires maintenance and drying. Failure to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations may result in product damage, the appearance of rust, or discoloration.
