A new, improved recipe for Turbo Torpedo 5-7 days distiller’s yeast, allowing to obtain up to 21% alcohol
How to use:
Choose the fermentation option (see the table). In the container, dissolve the right amount of sugar* - depending on the target alcohol content desired – in the specified amount of lukewarm water (30°C).
Next, pour in the whole content of the bag and mix it in carefully.
Pour the liquid into a demijohn or a fermentation container and top it up to 25 litres with water at room temperature.
After installing the airlock, leave the solution to ferment in the temperature of 20-25°C for the number of days specified in the table.
In order to achieve the best effect we recommend fining the batch once the fermentation is complete.
* for batches with more than 7 kg of sugar, add the second portion of sugar carefully after 48 hours.
Note:
The batch will be foaming, which is why it is best to add about 100 g of sugar and wait for the foam to go down – then the rest of the sugar can be added. We also recommend using a Foam reducing defoamer.
