Dedicated accessories - by purchasing a bored stopper and a fermentation airlock for the demijohn, you can carry out fermentation of wine, beer or mead in it.

The demijohn fits stopper No. 647328 (Ø 26/28 mm) and stopper No. 647344 (Ø 40/44 mm) – for use as a cap.

Usage:

Do not subject the glass to sudden thermal shocks, as an excessive temperature difference may cause damage. It is recommended to wash the glass in lukewarm water with an addition of, for example, potassium metabisulfite or Oxi Turbo. Due to the high stresses arising during vigorous fermentation, it is recommended to close the demijohn during this period with a less airtight cotton wool plug, which will prevent possible cracking of the glass.

Dishwasher safe.
