The 5 L carboy is suitable for fermenting wine, beer, mead, and for storing ready alcohols or juices. The glass of the carboy holds all the certificates allowing for its contact with food containing alcohol. The glass is not heat-resistant. The handle at the carboy neck makes it easy to carry the dish and pour liquids, e.g. into glasses. The carboy base is secured by a removable, plastic basket. A plastic screw cap is supplied.

Instructions for use:

Do not expose the glass to excessive heat, as extreme temperature differences could damage it. It is recommended to wash the glass with lukewarm water with disinfectants, such as potassium metabisulfite or Oxi Turbo.

Due to high tensions occurring as a result of turbulent fermentation, it is recommended to close the carboy with a less leak-proof cotton spigot at that time, to prevent possible glass breakage.
