For storage – this capacious 5 L bottle will be perfect for storing finished liquor or juice.
Screw cap included – the demijohn is sold with an airtight plastic screw cap.
For fermentation – after equipping the demijohn with a stopper with an opening, and an airlock, it can be used for fermenting wine, beer, or mead.
Convenient grip – the ear of the demijohn makes it easier to transfer its contents, as well as move the vessel around.
Plastic basket – the demijohn is fitted with a removable basket protecting it against shattering and insulating it from the substrate.

This demijohn is intended for fermentation of wine, beer, and mead, as well as for storage of finished liquor or juice. The grip at the bottle neck makes it easier to move it around and pour the liquid into glasses, for example. The base of the demijohn is secured by means of a removable plastic basket. The set includes a plastic screw cap.

Stoppers/closures compatible with the 5L demijohn:

- rubber stopper with diameter of 28 mm and an opening for an airlock

- cork stopper with diameter of 33 mm, without an opening for an airlock, for closing the demijohn

- spare screw caps

- screw caps with a dispenser

How to use:

Do not wash the demijohn in hot water and do not subject it to sudden changed in temperature (e.g. by moving from cold to warm environment). Excessively high temperature may damage the demijohn glass. It is recommended to wash demijohns in lukewarm water with addition of potassium metabisulphite or OXI Turbo.
