Raspberry wine from dried fruit

January is a winter month associated with low temperatures. The winter season clearly doesn’t bring to mind the fruit-processing season. It’s rather a time when we enjoy the stores prepared in summer and autumn. So is it worth, for example, starting a batch of wine in winter? Of course!

You’ll find several ideas for winter wines in this post. Today we have one more idea for you. You’ll learn how easy it is to make a very tasty wine — and in a short time. This is the simplest wine that anyone can make, and it tastes exquisite. With this kit, every season is perfect for starting homemade wine.

Recipe for raspberry wine

Preparation:

Heat 10 L of water to 85⁰C, then add the contents of the dried fruit bag and 2 kg of sugar, and while maintaining the given temperature, stir everything for 3 minutes.

After this time, cool the mixture to room temperature and transfer it to a fermentation vessel – a 15 L container or demijohn.

Next, add the contents of the small sachet with wine yeast and nutrient.

Ferment for one week, then strain the must.

To the strained young wine, add another portion of sugar, 0.5 kg, mix thoroughly, and ferment for one more month.

When fermentation is complete, you can add an infusion made from 2 bags of black tea, which will enrich the character of the finished beverage. Rack the wine into clean bottles rinsed with potassium metabisulfite and it’s ready! Enjoy the taste of an excellent, aromatic drink. Cheers!

Enjoy! ...because homemade is better!
