Thanks to its innovative design, the exceptionally silent “Silent Days and Night” airlock ensures silent course of fermentation that all the enthusiasts of homemade liquor desire, so as not be haunted by the sounds of “working” liquor that can be heard when using standard airlocks. The internal piston of the airlock has been designed in a manner that ensures more gentle release of carbon dioxide molecules during fermentation, thanks to which the airlock works very peacefully and the piston does not hit the body walls. This airlock, adequately named Silent Days and Nights, has also other advantages: it is stable, durable, easy to clean, and very practical. A specially profiled foot allows using the airlock for plugs with openings having the diameter from 8.5 to 10 mm. Thanks to the application of an innovative and effective air bleeding system, the inside of the airlock is well protected against all kinds of contaminations and access of flies and other insects. This allows reducing the probability of a batch getting contaminated during the fermentation process.
