If you want to get rid of unpleasant odours during fermentation, our fermentation smell absorber is the only product on the market offering an effective solution. It is a wonderful invention that will allow you to get rid of fermentation and other odours. You really need to check it out
This innovative product consists of a specially designed filter with a lid, which is topped up with activated coconut carbon and mounted on a silent airlock. Odour elimination relies on a natural ingredient – activated carbon.
Coconut carbon is one of the best odour-absorbing materials. Thanks to its porous structure, the carbon absorbs and traps odours, making the smell absorber very effective.
Once the supply of activated coconut carbon has been used up, simply purchase another batch of it and top up the filter, which is then placed on the airlock. Coconut activated carbon is available in our product range.
How to use:
Install the airlock in a tightly closed container or demijohn intended for fermentation and top it up with water up to appropriate level. Fill the filter with dry activated carbon up to the MAX level, install the filter on a tube and put the lid on.
Please note: Depending on carbon granulation, tiny amounts of it may find their way into the airlock. This has no impact on the fermentation process.
Before topping up the filter again, check its patency. If necessary, flush the filter and dry it before using it again.
The number of smell absorbers needed and the frequency of replacing carbon in the filter depend on batch volume and intensity of the gases emitted during fermentation. In order to achieve a better effect, the filter can be stacked (max. 2) within a single tube or applied in separate tubes (suggested use is indicated in the table).
The set includes:
- filter with a lid
- silent airlock
- 220 g activated coconut carbon
