The 5 L Dama demijohn is designed for fermenting wine, beer, and mead, as well as for storing finished beverages or juices. The clear glass is fully certified food-safe for contact with alcohol. Usage:

Do not subject the glass to sudden thermal shock, as large temperature differences may cause damage. It’s recommended to wash the glass in lukewarm water with, for example, potassium metabisulfite or Oxi Turbo. Because vigorous fermentation creates significant stress, during this phase it’s recommended to close the demijohn with a less-tight cotton-wool plug to help prevent the glass from cracking.
