A 2.5 L clay baker with a lid is a great alternative to the popular, standard loaf pan. The pot is made of natural material - clay. As a result, the dishes do not require the addition of fat during baking, they are easy to digest and retain much more nutritional value.

The clay baker is a universal cookware that can be used to prepare virtually any dishes. Due to its shape, it is perfect for breads, including gluten-free breads, as well as cakes and pâtés, also vegan, e.g. from chickpeas or lentils. The pot is ideal for roasting meat, fish and vegetable dishes. The 2.5 L elongated clay baker enables you to easily keep your food in shape and properly moist.

The porous structure of the clay baker releases water during baking, so that the dish is also steamed in the oven. This ensures that the food prepared in the roasting pan is crispy on the outside and sufficiently moist on the inside.

How to use:

- Before each use the pot should be soaked in water for 10-15 minutes. The pot should be soaked in whole, with its cover. Next, it needs to be placed in a cool oven. In order to obtain a crunchy dish, remove the pot cover 10 minutes before the baking/roasting ends.
- Prior to baking bread, smear the pot surface with butter or coconut oil and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs or flour in order to facilitate taking the baked loaf out
- Do not place the pot directly over a gas burner or an electronic cooktop.
- The Clay baker must not be subjected to sudden temperature changes.
- Do not pour cold liquids into the pot when it is hot.
- The maximum recommended temperature of baking/roasting in the Clay baker is 200°C.
- The pot is intended for use in gas and electric ovens.

Washing and cleaning:

After using the pot it is necessary to soak it a few times in warm water and then wash it with a sponge or soft brush. Persistent soiling can be removed by using baking soda. From time to time it is worth boiling the pot in water with vinegar in order to neutralise smells. The product is not dishwasher safe.
After washing, the pot should be left to dry completely and then it should be stored open, best in a draughty place.
