Made in Poland! A precision outdoor window thermometer, made of transparent plastic. It has special ends – holders with adhesive tape that enable fixing the thermometer (without having to drill holes) to window frames made of plastic, aluminium or wood. The holders also feature openings thanks to which you can additionally fix the thermometer with screws if necessary. This thermometer enables measuring temperature within the range from - 50°C to + 50°C with low error tolerance of about +/- 1°C. The thermometer scale is printed on a cardboard underlay, placed inside a glass tube fitted with plastic plugs on both ends. The inside of the thermometer capillary is filled with thermometric liquid, consisting of a mixture of toluene (used as a solvent) with kerosene and dye. The device is characterised by easy installation – the handles of the thermometer feature not only openings, but also pieces of adhesive tape, making this instrument quick and simple to fix, while at the same time ensuring a strong and stable hold.

PLEASE NOTE: It is best to fix the thermometer at a spot that is not exposed to direct sunlight. Excessive insolation may lead to fading of the print on the underlay. The direct impact of solar radiation - particularly in the summer – may cause the temperature to rise above 50°C, leading to expansion of the liquid and breakage of the capillary.
