A 2-in-1 device thanks to which you will quickly determine the soil pH level and fertility. This tester is indispensable in cultivation of vegetables, fruit, flowers and decorative plants, as well as lawn care!
The soil tester is a device for simultaneous measurement of soil pH level and fertility - very useful when cultivating multiple varieties of plants and vegetables. This device will work excellently in allotment lots, gardens, greenhouses and balconies, but also indoors - when caring for pot plants. The tester is very easy to use. The probe intended for fertility measurement measures the content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK) in soil, depending on the share of individual elements. This analogue 2-in-1 soil tester does not require batteries, thanks to which you can have it ready at all times!
PH LEVEL MEASUREMENT
SOIL FERTILITY MEASUREMENT
Caution!
The packaging includes a detailed used manual.
1. Directly after taking the measurement it is necessary wipe the tester sensor with a cloth or a paper towel.
2. The tester is used solely for measuring the pH level and fertility of soil (for pot plants and garden plants).
3. The device must not be put into water or any chemical solutions directly.
The knowledge of the pH value of soil facilitates planning to a great extent and later it helps maintain optimal conditions for the plants cultivated. As a result, it is possible to act with more awareness and obtain a satisfying amount of crops. The knowledge of soil fertility makes it significantly easier to plan the cultivation and check whether fertilisation is necessary. Different plants require different soil. This, the soil fertilisation frequency they require differs as well.
ADJUSTMENT OF SOIL pH LEVEL
Adding sulphur to the soil reduces its pH, while adding lime increases it. Since the amount of these additives depends on the soil type, it is necessary to take advantage of appropriate gardening manual when choosing them. Lower doses of sulphur (lime) are used for lightweight soils that contain little humus, while the higher ones are used for fertile soils that are abundant in it. Proper pH value of soil is maintained by using appropriate fertilisers.
