Total nominal capacity of the ham maker is 3 kg.
You can prepare a dish with up to 2.6 kg of meat in the device.
The minimum fill is approx. 1.5 kg.
Use the device in a pot with a minimum height of 21 cm. Place the closed ham maker in the pot, then pour in water so it reaches the ham maker’s lid but remains 3–4 cm below the rim of the pot. This safe water level prevents liquid from boiling over during poaching.
