Bison grass has nothing to do with bisons. The best specimen can be found in the Białowieża Forest. Thanks to cumarin contents, the plant offers a pleasant slightly vanilla aroma. It is mainly used to flavor vodka. Bison grass also has medicinal applications as it is used to treat alimentary trackt ailments. Recipe: Mix 4 bison grass blades with 1l of 50% alcohol. Carmelize 2 spoonfuls of sugar and add to the alcohol. Leave the liquid to rest for a minimum of 7 days.
