Food drying is one of the most perfect preservation methods. The warm air with set temperature that circulates freely within the device between the heating coil and individual layers of products arranged on the screens makes them perfectly dehydrated, while at the same time losing next to no vitamins and nutrients. The device we offer will be excellent for drying all kinds of seasonal food. Using this method, you will have no trouble preparing a supply of dried vegetables, fruit, mushrooms, meats and herbs! The dryer allows preparing healthy food all year round without using any harmful chemical substances. It also enables drying flowers and medicinal herbs and preparing breakfast cereals.

How to use

Wash the food products to be dried and then wipe them dry prior to commencing drying.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Do not place screens with products over the heating coil if there is any water in them. Divide products into smaller pieces or slices in such a manner as to be able to arrange them freely on the screens. The drying time depends on thickness of pieces/slices. If products on some screens are dried to a lesser extent, it is recommended to swap the screen positions so that the screens with less dried products are located at the bottom, closer to the heating coil. Some fruit feature a natural protective coating that slows down the drying process. In such a case, in order to shorten the drying time, it is recommended to put such products into hot water and cook them for 1-2 minutes, then immerse them in cold water, drain them and dry them thoroughly.

 

 The screens filled with products should be arranged over the heating coil and covered with the lid.

Adjust the ventilation openings in the lid depending on the degree of ventilation desired.

Turn on the dryer - it operates with the power of 125 W.

After the products are dried, turn off the dryer and wait for the products to cool down. Afterwards, move them to their target storage container. The heated air caused evaporation of water from the products dried when passing through the screens. The drying time depends on the content of water in products and their fragmentation. For example, we recommend drying apples in slices not thicker than 5 mm. During drying we recommend swapping the screen positions once in a while in order to obtain uniformly dried products. It takes much longer to dry moist products such as plums, grapes or wet mushrooms.
