Herbed pull-apart bread

Herbed pull-apart bread, also known as tear-and-share bread, is a tasty idea for a snack or as an addition to a barbecue feast. Delicate and soft inside and crispy on the outside, it will appeal to everyone. The secret of this dish is the butter, to which you can add your favorite herbs, spices and extras such as olives. You’ll certainly want to make it as often as possible, in different ways — and we’re not surprised. This bread not only looks impressive, it tastes amazing!

Recipe for herbed pull-apart bread

Preparation:

Put the flour, water, oil, salt, sugar and yeast into a bowl, then knead the dough and leave it to rise for half an hour. Meanwhile, prepare the herb butter. Finely chop the onion, garlic, chives, parsley and basil. Mix with soft butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Roll out the risen dough into a thin sheet, cut it into strips, then spread each of them with the butter. Fold the prepared strips accordion-style and arrange them on a baking tray side by side. Remember to grease the tray with butter beforehand or line it with baking paper. Set aside to rise for 15 minutes. Bake for 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180⁰C. This bread can be served both warm and cold.
