How to use:
BAROMETER:
Setup-the pointer is adjusted by turning the recessed screw at the back of the unit. The movements must be gentle and gradual. The easiest way for initial adjustment is to check indications in the local area.
Placement- the barometer can be placed anywhere. It should not come in contact with wet walls outside, nor near heat sources. This applies to barometers with a hygrometer and a thermometer in particular.
Readout- gently tap on the glass before each readout. A slight tendency to change pressure levels may occur. Better comparative abilities available when after each readout, the outer pointer is set to the same level as the barometer indicator (so as to reach an overlap).
HYGROMETER:
A hygrometer is an instrument with a main purpose of measuring relative humidity of the air. Hygrometers are used in warehouses, archives, libraries, food industry, as well as in households.
