Product only in the DE version.
Premium, universal yeast for all types of wines. Recommended especially for wines made from gooseberries, pears, apricots, strawberries, cereals, hawthorn, apples, rosehips, white grapes, rhubarb, greengage plums, and white currants.
Universal is a specially selected strain of wine yeast suspended in a protective liquid. These yeast ensure rapid and stable fermentation over a very wide temperature range, good sugar fermentation, stable wine color, and an attractive bouquet. They are resistant to high sugar and alcohol concentrations, which is why they can be used to restart a wine - "kick-starting" the must, when the wine stops "working" before reaching the intended properties.

Directions for use:
Liquid yeast should be pre-propagated, i.e., prepare a yeast inoculum—the so-called mother culture. Into a 1 L bottle, pour 150 ml of juice or add 200 g of crushed fruit, 300 ml of water, and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Cover the bottle with a cotton wool plug and pasteurize for 30 min. After cooling, pour the contents of the previously shaken yeast sachet into the bottle. Leave for 1-2 days at 22-26°C, then pour into a fermenter or demijohn with the wine must (5-25 L).
Caution!
At all stages of preparing the yeast inoculum, maintain sterile conditions - pay particular attention to the cleanliness of the vessel in which you will propagate the yeast.
For optimal fermentation, it is advisable to add a nutrient: Kombi (401020) or Kombi Vita (401030).
Best before end: expiry date and batch number on the seal. Store in a dry place at room temperature. For enological use only, not for direct consumption.
