Fermivin VR5 dried, universal wine yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae from the Corbieres region of France.
Fermivin VR5 is a wine yeast fermenting up to 16% alcohol, recommended for chokeberry, elderberry, blackcurrant, black grapes, sweet cherries, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and plums. This yeast perfectly extracts the aroma of red and high-tannin fruits that require long maturation.
In order to achieve fast and complete attenuation, it is necessary to ensure, among other things, an optimum fermentation temperature of 18 to 32°C for this yeast.
One sachet of yeast is suitable for the preparation of 10 to 35 L of vinegar.
Fermivin VR5 dried wine yeast is very easy to use, a short rehydration is enough.
Directions for use
Mix the contents of the sachet in 100 ml of boiled water cooled to 30°C, leave for 20 minutes at room temperature. After this time, pour the solution into the fermentation container or a a carboy with the batch of wine.
The yeast achieves its full potential with the use of nutrients: with vitamin B1 and Kombi Vita.
